Me Ryan and Dante worked together this week. 

We had to create a 2 minute clip using the lighting style of one of the following films;

Schindlers list

Harry Potter

Assassination of Jesse James

Baby Driver

We picked Schindlers List after Ryan suggested that we filmed a script he wrote a while back. The Audition We all thought it’d be a cool Film Noir short. Still struggling to find locations we asked Amber (our friend where we shot the horror) and she was up for letting us use her house, again. Plus kindly offering to act too which was ideal. 

Dante did the sound and I was on Cinematography.

All in all it went well. Unfortunately we had to film with the house lights on as well as the dedo lights as having all three set up would of created hazards. Especially for Dante with the boom pole. We didn’t want to risk anything happening to the equipment so worked it out. Some shots I feel we hit the nail on the head! Some not so much. 

These shots I felt pulled off the Schindlers List look most convincingly. The others I felt should of had more contrast.

Editing was a breeze as we used the clapper efficiently so all the thumbnails were clearly labelled.
