where we each chose

- They work as a masseuse
- They secretly kill criminals
- Lies about liking beans and butter ?
I chose the character to be a woman as it would be more believable that these predatory men would choose to visit her. Also the fact that she's a woman it could represent all women in the workplace and the things they have to deal with but on a more extreme level.
She's a masseuse so i had to think of what sort of criminals would be her clients. I don't think street level criminals like dealers etc would be so i thought that it could be a different sort of criminal like a politician or someone in the entertainment industry?
When i picture the masseuse i see a quiet timid woman that wouldn't hurt a fly which brought me to the "how could she possibly kill these people?" part. My first idea was that maybe she knows a certain technique that puts them in a trance like state? but then i thought that she could use acupuncture needles as a way to paralyse the victims. They could also be coated with truth serum.
This is the part where i really struggled to fit in the lie about liking beans and butter. After a lot of thought i came up with the idea that she makes her own beauty products containing beans and butter that she claims she uses herself but doesn't. She sells them to these pig type men making their skin appear as ugly and as greasy as their inner characters.
The mouldy apple would be a perfect metaphor for the rotten industry she's involved in. Visually it would be shown at the beginning of the film as a fresh ripe apple symbolising her starting out fresh. Gradually it would rot as she realises the industry is rotten to the core.
