Padlet Links And Why I Chose them
Time Compression
At 1:13 the manager makes a run for the airport. I picked this clip not just because I watched this series again recently and noticed it but because I think it shows Time Compression in a quite effective way to add to the humour of the already ridiculous situation.
Parallel Action
I picked this opening sequence from Dead Mans Shoes as I think it's a brilliant way of character building without saying anything using clips from two different times. I couldn't explain what I like about this film so much until I stumbled across the word Anemoia which means you feel nostalgic from a time you haven't known. I get this from this opening sequence.
Character Interaction
I picked this clip from Raising Arizona as it was the first thing that came to my head when I thought of character interaction. This clip and the one where he punches his boss Glen for suggesting wife swapping.
Continual Action
This clip from Ferris Buellers Day Off is a good example of continual action as it's not all shot from one angle or place but you're not missing out on anything.
Another example I thought of is from Jacobs Ladder (The hospital)
