The 7 Me Questions.
Who Inspires you?
My brothers mainly. We're all very similar and like the same types of things so we tend to bounce ideas off each other even without directly speaking. Celebrity wise I'd have to just list a few of many and in no particular order;
Stanley Kubrick, Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Samo Hung, Bruce Lee, Jack Nicholson, Roger Deakins, Coen Brothers, John Goodman, Steven King, Mark Tennant, Edvard Munch, Wes Anderson, Roy Andersson, Hunter S Thompson, George Orwell, Charlie Brooker, Robert De Niro, Sean Locke, Karl Pilkington, Ricky Gervais, Russel Brand, Chris Morris . There's too many.
What angers you?
Vanity, most people that post on social media (specifically Facebook) , animal cruelty, racism, attention seeking/ loud people, materialism, war,. Again there's too many things.
Why do I create?
It's a good way for me to show my thoughts and ideas as I can't really express what I mean sometimes verbally. Most of the time it depends on what mood I'm in and if I've been inspired by something that day. It can't be forced.
What makes you smile?
90's comedy like Father Ted, Spaced, Alan Partridge, jam etc.
Animals doing anything, Music, Painting, Drawing....
What do you stand for?
To just be genuine and as humble as possible and generally a good human being.
What do you want to create?
Whatever I believe is a good idea at the time. Recently I've been watching documentaries from the 1950's ? about what they thought the future would be like. Year 1999 AD Is one that has inspired me to paint some frames from it. I think It's really well composed for what it is and love the aesthetics of the "Retro-Futurism" style. Reminds me of Kubrick's 2001.
